Job Description

Shelby Gardens Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team full-time for each shift (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am). This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced nurse who is confident working overnight and passionate about providing exceptional, resident-centered care.

In This Role You Will...

• Provide compassionate nursing care in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond appropriately to health concerns or emergencies
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and other members of the care team
• Provide guidance and support to personal care staff during the overnight shift
• Follow all community policies, procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations
• Promote each resident’s dignity, independence, safety, comfort, and quality of life

What We’re Looking For...

• Current and valid Tennessee LPN license
• Previous experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or a related setting is preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to respond calmly to overnight resident needs
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Dependable, compassionate, and resident-focused
• Ability to work independently while remaining a supportive member of the care team

Schedule

• Full-time
• Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. including every other weekend
• Overnight shift: 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. including every other weekend
