General Summary:

Under the direction of the physician/provider, provides nursing care in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

A Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for delivery of optimal resident care through collaboration with all disciplines and the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides resident and family teaching and activities of STNA while maintaining standards of professional nursing promotes a safe, caring, home-like environment for the resident and families.
