
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part-Time PRN
Waters Edge of Bradenton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring team at our assisted living community. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on residents' lives while working in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Document all care provided accurately and timely in residents' medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and current LPN license in the state of Florida
- Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on a PRN basis, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
