POSITION GOAL
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and performs delegated patient care functions. The work that is performed is done under the established policies and procedures of the institution and within the educational preparation and regulatory requirements for licensure. The LPN will be expected to assess and analyze a given situation and make decisions within the limits of licensed practiced.

Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred.
Education: Basic education necessary for Nursing licensure
Special Qualifications: Current Alabama Nursing License required. BLS required. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, excellent critical thinking and customer service.
