Are you an experienced and compassionate nurse looking to make a difference in the lives of seniors? Our Assisted Living and Memory Care community is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Night Shift Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys leading a team, supporting residents, and ensuring high-quality care throughout the night.

The Night Shift Nurse is responsible for providing clinical oversight and nursing care to residents while supervising and supporting direct care staff. The ideal candidate will have experience with nurse delegation, medication management, resident assessments, and staff supervision in a senior living environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and clinical oversight during the overnight shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns appropriately.
• Delegate nursing tasks and provide guidance to care staff in accordance with state regulations.
• Supervise and support caregivers to ensure quality resident care and compliance with community policies.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, and resident concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio LPN license in good standing.
• Previous night shift experience, preferably in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or Skilled Nursing.
• Experience with nurse delegation and supervision of direct care staff required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Experience with dementia care preferred.
