Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and attending physician.

  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

  • Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate healthcare provider.

  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident assessments.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans.

  • Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) while promoting teamwork and excellent resident care.

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, infection prevention practices, and facility policies.

  • Foster a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.

  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.

  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
