LPN - Employee Health Nurse - Full Time - Dayshift
Mon. - Fri. 7:30am - 4pm

Join our dedicated Employee Health team and help promote a safe, healthy workplace for our team at Meritus! We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented LPN with a strong clinical background and a passion for occupational health. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting new employee onboarding, employee wellness, injury prevention, immunizations, and compliance with health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical support for pre-employment screenings, immunizations, TB testing, and annual health assessments

• Monitor and manage employee exposure incidents, work-related injuries, and return-to-work processes

• Maintain accurate health records in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital policy

• Collaborate with various departments to support employee wellness initiatives

• Educate employees on health practices, vaccine information, and safety protocols

Requirements:

Education – Graduation from an accredited LPN certification program.

Experience – At least 3 years clinical nursing experience required. Outpatient medical office nursing or occupational health nursing preferred.

Licensure/Certification – Current license or eligible for licensure as an LPN in the State of Maryland. Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Ability to apply the standards of professional nursing practice with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills required. Must possess high level of organization and communication skills.
