
Assists physicians and nursing staff in the care of patients. Performs various patient care activities
Has significant administrative and clinical responsibilities including
Nursing visits for biologics injection teaching
Assisting with medication authorizations
Patient assistance program forms for biologics
Suture removals
Administer phototherapy treatment
Assist with in basket messages for specialty clinics
Patch testing placement
Facilitation and database maintenance and monitoring of infusions and biologics/specialty medications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Requires valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
Excellent customer service and communication skills
One or more years of related experience
CPR certification is required

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/ training and other qualifications.
