40This position is for Pediatric Associates of Springfield.

Under the direct supervision of the physician or RN, the LPN provides basic ambulatory nursing care of pediatric patients aged newborn to 21 years. Nursing care includes patient preparation, performing routine office procedures, possible administration of medications and immunizations, and routine testing. The LPN will participate in health care decision making by communicating observations to the health care team. Documentation of observations will follow the department guidelines. Interacts interdepartmentally.

Hours: M-F 8-5PM

Required - Graduation from an accredited program of practical Nursing , LPN licensure in State of Ohio.

Education

Nursing Diploma (NOT a BSN): Nursing (Required)

Certification/License required

LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Ohio Board of Nursing
CPR: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - American Heart Association
