Functions as staff LPN utilizing the nursing process with performing comprehensive psychiatric /mental health assessments. Evaluates mental status and refers clients to other treatment providers when necessary. Assumes primary responsibility and accountability for ones nursing practices as defined in the state specific Code of Nursing Practice, as it pertains to a licensed practical nurse and functions under the supervision of an RN or physician.
he Columbia clinic is seeking a team-oriented LPN to join a team of therapists, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, case managers, and support staff to deliver care that saves lives. Mental health experiences preferred. At least two years' experience in the field as an LPN. This is an office-based job. Hours of Monday through Friday 8-5 and is not telehealth or is not a work from home position.
Must have the ability to work cooperatively with all staff and physicians and function as a valuable member of the treatment team.
Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
Minimum of six months to one year experience in psychiatric or equivalent mental health related nursing experience is preferred.
