Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This role functions under the direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse and supports both dependent and independent nursing functions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care based on individualized patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare team members
- Adhere to all facility policies and safety protocols
