What is this role about?
The LPG Lorry Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and compliant transportation of liquefied petroleum gas from terminals to customers, ensuring strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The role covers end-to-end delivery execution, including vehicle inspection, proper loading and unloading, product handling, and accurate documentation. It also involves maintaining product quality and quantity integrity, coordinating with dispatch and customers, and responding effectively to operational issues or emergencies. As a frontline operator, the driver serves as a critical link between terminal operations and customers, ensuring reliable and professional delivery service.

What will YOU do?

  • Operate safely LPG lorry/tank trucks to transport liquefied petroleum gas from terminals to customer locations, ensuring full compliance with company policies, traffic laws, and hazardous materials regulations

  • Ensure to strictly adhere to HES (Health, Environment, and Safety) standards, including defensive driving, leak prevention, fire safety precautions, and emergency response protocols specific to LPG

  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, checking tank pressure levels, valves, hoses, fittings, gauges, and safety equipment; promptly report and escalate any defects.

  • Execute safe and accurate loading and unloading of LPG, following established procedures such as proper hose connection, grounding, pressure checks, and vapor management to prevent leaks or incidents

  • Ensure product quality and quantity integrity, adhering to correct filling limits, compartment allocation (if applicable), and monitoring for any signs of contamination or loss

  • Verify and complete delivery documentation, including delivery receipts, waybills, seal records, and volume/weight measurements, ensuring accuracy and compliance

  • Comply with all LPG transport regulations, including permits, vehicle certifications, hazardous goods handling requirements, and mandated driving hours

  • Maintain clear communication with dispatch, terminal personnel, and customers, providing updates on delivery status, delays, and any operational issues

  • Respond effectively to emergencies and incidents, such as LPG leaks, road accidents, or equipment failures, by following emergency procedures and immediately escalating to the appropriate teams

  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness, ensuring the lorry, tank, and equipment are in good condition, presentable, and fit for safe and efficient operations

What will YOU need?

  • At least High School Graduate or Senior High School Graduate

  • Valid Professional Driver’s License (PDL) issued by the Land Transportation Office, with restriction codes appropriate for heavy vehicles/tankers (e.g., DL Code C/CE or equivalent)

  • At least 2–3 yearsof professional driving experience, preferably operating heavy trucks, tankers, or LPG lorries
