LPEA Engineer
•Act as the Local Process Equipment Authority (LPEA) for assembly processes, connecting local operations with the global Steering Wheel Product Line to deploy best practices, ensure compliance with Manufacturing and Corporate Process Specifications, and drive the 1 Product / 1 Process (1P1P) strategy
•Support manufacturing and development projects, guiding the Autonomous Manufacturing Organization in equipment alignment, automation initiatives, and process optimization to improve efficiency, safety, quality, cost performance, and productivity.
•Drive continuous improvement and technical problem solving, including root cause analysis and action plans for quality or productivity issues, implementing SMED changeover strategies, and ensuring operational standards are followed.
•Coordinate global and local collaboration, contributing inputs to ICAN scenarios for cost analysis, supporting Automation Forum priorities and implementation, and presenting monthly status updates on MPS/CPS, safety, yokoten, and automation initiatives.
•Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
•Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments, with strong background in final assembly processes, machine design, and process engineering.
•Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and advanced English proficiency, with daily interaction and collaboration with global teams across different countries.
