WHAT YOU WILL DO

The L&P Future of Field Associate will join the Learning and Development Capability Team, supporting the development, delivery, and adoption of Future of Field capabilities. This role will help enable field-facing teams through innovative learning, digital, and AI-powered solutions that strengthen capability building, improve access to insights, and support more effective customer engagement.

Working closely with Learning and Development colleagues, business stakeholders, product owners, and the DevOps team, the L&P Future of Field Associate will identify business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements. The role will support the design, development, testing, validation, and documentation of solutions including AI-powered tools, workflow automations, data integrations, and Power BI applications.

  • Support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of Future of Field capabilities and digital learning solutions.
  • Test, validate, and document AI features, automated workflows, Power BI applications, and other digital tools to ensure they meet business needs and deliver value.
  • Support demonstrations and showcase MyGenius, Amgen’s in-house AI ecosystem, and other relevant digital capabilities to business stakeholders.
  • Research emerging AI, automation, analytics, and learning technologies and contribute to Proofs of Concept that evaluate innovative ideas.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Future of Field and learning-related use cases, translating business needs into clear functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with product owners, Learning and Development colleagues, field-facing teams, and technical teams to support the design and delivery of solutions.
  • Build and maintain Power BI applications, reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Support process automation and data integration activities to improve efficiency, user experience, and access to relevant insights.
  • Create and maintain functional designs, process flows, system interface diagrams, technical specifications, and supporting documentation.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to the adoption, communication, and ongoing enhancement of digital solutions across the Future of Field ecosystem.

The professional we seek is a curious, collaborative, and business-oriented professional with an interest in Learning and Development, field capabilities, artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, and digital product delivery.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Learning and Development, Business Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in digital product delivery, business analysis, learning and development, technology consulting, data analytics, software development, or a related role.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional requirements.
  • Experience supporting the testing, validation, documentation, and delivery of digital products or technology solutions.
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred requirements

  • Interest in artificial intelligence, generative AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, reporting, data modeling, and visualization.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience with AI and automation platforms, including MyGenius, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or comparable generative AI tools.
  • Familiarity with data, integration, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Databricks, Tableau, MuleSoft, Informatica, GitHub, or Jira.
  • Experience supporting Proofs of Concept, prompt engineering, AI evaluation, or agentic AI frameworks.
  • Familiarity with programming and data-query languages such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Knowledge of the commercial, learning, or field-facing environment within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or similarly regulated industries.
  • Experience collaborating with product owners, Learning and Development colleagues, business stakeholders, field-facing teams, and technical or DevOps teams.
  • Experience supporting digital product delivery within an Agile environment, including participation in stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, data-driven problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and take accountability for delivery.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
  • An Agile mindset and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
