Job Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Low Voltage Electricians for projects located in or around Waukesha, WI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Install infrastructure for building automation, temperature controls, and security systems
• Install wire support systems, conduit, cabling, and cable management systems
• Install and terminate panels, controllers, field devices, and related control system components
• Install and connect power to equipment, panels, and devices
• Label all installed wiring according to project requirements
• Read, review, and follow blueprints, drawings, project specifications, deadlines, and sequences of operation
• Work with programmers and commissioning agents to test and troubleshoot system operation
• Coordinate material needs and ordering requirements
• Maintain project tools, equipment, ladders, drills, gang boxes, and material inventory
• Update as-built drawings as needed
• Perform additional duties related to building automation and security system installations

Requirements:

• Electrical experience required, preferably with low-voltage control systems
• Knowledge of electrical codes
• Journeyman or Master Electrical License is a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and project documentation
• Ability to learn and follow sequences of operation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Professional attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong attendance and reliability record
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Occasional overnight travel may be required
