Job Description

ON Call Bartender

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware.
  • Ensure compliance with all alcohol serving laws and company policies.
  • Provide prompt, courteous service to guests, engaging with them to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately; follow opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and act responsibly to prevent over-service
  • Assist with inventory counts and restocking when necessary.
  • Work closely with the event team and other staff to ensure smooth service during events.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven bartending experience in a bar, restaurant, or event setting.
  • Current alcohol service certification (as required by local laws).
  • Excellent Communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age (or legal serving age in NYC).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of classic and modern cocktail recipes.
  • Experience with POS systems.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Previous experience in event environments.

Working Conditions:

  • This is an on-call position with no guaranteed hours.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25lbs.
  • Shifts may include late nights, holidays, and weekends.
