Examples of duties

This position focuses on building and maintaining a strong network of Lottery retailers to support sales growth across an assigned district. Your work strengthens the presence of the Pennsylvania Lottery and ensures retailers have the tools they need to succeed. As a Lottery Sales Representative, you will perform the following duties:

  • Retailer Recruitment: Seek new Lottery license applicants by canvassing businesses and assisting with application requirements
  • Sales Support: Help retailers promote Lottery tickets, identify causes of low sales, and implement successful strategies
  • Compliance Checks: Conduct on-site inspections to verify accessibility and explain required improvements
  • Equipment Training: Provide instruction on ITVMs, ticket stock handling, and related reports for new and established retailers
  • Promotional Activities: Coordinate product promotions, deliver marketing materials, and monitor effectiveness
  • Account Monitoring: Review retailer performance, manage ticket allocations, and complete required account reviews

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Home Headquartered: This position is home headquartered, however you will be expected to report to your assigned area office on a weekly basis. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Four years of experience in progressively responsible sales or marketing work; or
  • Any equivalent experience and training.

Special Requirement:

  • You must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must abide by the prohibition guidelines and refrain from gambling in Pennsylvania casinos, or any casino outside of Pennsylvania with the same owners.
  • This position will travel to cover Philadelphia County. The candidate must reside in Philadelphia County in one of the following zip codes: 19102, 19103, 19106, 19107, 19109, 19123, 19146, or 19147. Relocation is not an option.
  • You must have four or more years of sales experience.
  • You must have four or more years of customer service experience in a sales environment.
  • You must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
  • You must be able to travel in all types of weather conditions.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
