Your Purpose as a Lot Porter:

  • Be prepared for and check-in transport vehicles in a timely manner
  • Keep service bay neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the service manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
  • Shuttle driver as needed
  • Accurately receives cash, checks, and credit card payments for service work/ rentals.
  • Stocking guest areas as needed
  • Move, retrieve and deliver vehicles to/from all property locations
  • Ensure vehicles are tagged and signed to meet dealership display standards
  • Wash and fuel lot cars to ensure cleanliness and paint integrity and readiness for test-drives.
  • Anticipate and assists all guests with any of their needs
  • Verify the identity of the person picking up the vehicle by checking their name on credit card, check, or driver’s license.
  • Organize and file repair orders, invoices, and lists of missing documents.
  • Reconcile cash drawer during shift changes and daily for start/end of business.
  • Provide backup assistance to all customer relations departments as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle
