Salary: $15.00 per hour

The Lot Porter has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $15.00.

The Lot Porter is responsible for moving service customer vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility, enhance customer convenience, and maintain an orderly service parking area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude; answer questions and direct them to the appropriate person or location
  • Verify customer appointments and record customer name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage during walk-around inspection
  • Control service traffic flow and parking; manage loaner vehicle assignments as needed
  • Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tags on all service vehicles
  • Park vehicles safely in designated service areas and deliver keys and repair orders to the appropriate Service Advisor immediately
  • Retrieve customer vehicles at cashier for pick-up and thank customers for their business
  • Drive vehicles to and from service lanes, stalls, and parking areas as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe service drive area, free of trash, water, leaves, and dirt
  • Report any lot damage immediately; maintain zero lot damage standards
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures; report accidents to management immediately
