Job Description

The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily security and safety operations of the hotel to ensure a safe environment for guests, employees, and hotel assets. This role involves supervising the Loss Prevention team, monitoring security activities, handling incidents, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures. The Loss Prevention Supervisor also plays a key role in maintaining operational discipline and upholding the hotel’s safety and service standards.

  • Supervise and coordinate Loss Prevention Officers during shifts to ensure hotel safety, security, and compliance with operational procedures.
  • Conduct regular patrols, monitor security activities, investigate incidents, and respond promptly to emergencies or safety hazards.
  • Prepare daily security reports, incident reports, and maintain accurate logbook documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities such as police, fire department, and emergency services when required.
  • Ensure the safety of guests, employees, hotel assets, and facilities while maintaining professional guest relations and service standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar security or loss prevention role, preferably in hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of hotel security procedures, safety standards, and emergency response.
  • Able to work under pressure, handle incidents professionally, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Possess security certification (such as Garda Pratama) and good English communication skills.
