  • Major Investigations: Conduct complex investigations into loss events, incidents, and trends. Ensure solutions address immediate needs while aligning with long-term strategic goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations teams and other business units to ensure appropriate strategies and solutions are delivered effectively.
  • External Partnerships: Liaise with external parties including contractors, solution providers, industry bodies, and law enforcement to stay ahead of evolving industry practices.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and present comprehensive reports for Senior Leaders on the current and future status of stock loss.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Internal and external risk management
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Analytics and Insight

About you

You are a critical thinker and a pragmatic problem solver who understands the operational drivers behind behaviours and actions. You bring a balanced judgment to decision-making and possess a strong track record of achieving results across multiple KPIs.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ experience within a retail environment, with at least 5 years specifically in a Loss Prevention leadership role.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated effective leadership and cultural development skills, with a proven ability to coach and develop teams.
  • Collaboration: Extensive experience working alongside cross-functional teams to achieve broader organizational success.
  • Communication: Exceptional active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Investigative Excellence: Strict adherence to due process for investigations and interviews.
  • Business Acumen: Solid understanding of financial budgets (CapEx/OpEx) and high-level organizational skills.
