Responsibilities:

As a Loss Prevention Officer at La Cabana Beach Resort and Casino, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff. Your responsibilities include regularly patrolling the property and operating surveillance systems to ensure safety and detect any suspicious activities.

Promptly reporting all incidents, accidents, and thefts while maintaining accurate logs is essential. In emergencies, you'll respond quickly, providing First Aid/CPR and following established emergency procedures. Managing entry points, controlling keys, and ensuring only authorized access to restricted areas are part of your duties. Addressing security concerns and conflicts professionally and interacting with guests and staff in a friendly manner is paramount.

You'll also ensure compliance with safety programs, inspect fire suppression and safety systems, and assist other departments as needed, including securely transporting valuables. Regular training sessions will keep you updated on safety and security protocols, and you'll maintain a professional appearance to promote a positive image of the resort.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English, Spanish, and Papiamento.
• Strong customer-driven mindset and ability to interact professionally.
• Knowledge of First Aid/CPR and emergency procedures.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and security protocols.
• Ability to accurately report and log incidents and daily activities.
• Willingness to work different shifts and holidays as needed.
• Capability to patrol the property and respond quickly to emergencies.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Security background is a plus.
• MAVO education or equivalent experience.
