Job Description

  1. Ensure that Loss Prevention Officers are on duty at the assigned time and place and are physically and mentally fit to perform duties.
  2. Ensure that the loss prevention officers are in a complete and proper uniform and are properly equipped.
  3. Ensure that loss prevention officers are aware of all information required for their performance of duty so that they may immediately assume their assignments.
  4. Ensure that Loss Prevention Officers are present at the jetties or entrance points during the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure of any craft or vessel. Each craft or vessel movement should be recorded along with the times and purpose of the visit.
  5. Ensure that no person enters the property without the prior authorization of the management.
  6. Conduct fire and security patrols of the entire property area under the instructions. Each patrol shall take place in areas in particular with high risks, such as the generator room, fresh water storage, technical area, fuel storage, jetties, kitchens, guests, and team members accommodation.
  7. Prepare daily reports and coordinate day-to-day operations.
  8. Assist guests and team members during emergency situations.
  9. Respond to accidents, contact crisis management, and administer first aid and CPR as required.
  10. Maintain the confidentiality of reports and documents and release information to authorized individuals.
  11. Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  12. Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  13. Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  14. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to reach common goals; listen to and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a security supervision role is required.
  • With excellent communication skills in the English language.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications is required.
  • Certification in CPR first aid would be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
