Job Description

Lake Washington School District is looking for qualified School Counselor candidates who are interested in working as a l ong-term (21-89 DAYS) Substitute School Counselor in the 2026-2027 school year Substitute counselors work at all levels K - 12.

Qualifications:

  • Certification/License: Washington State ESA Certification as a School Counselor -- REQUIRED

Substitute counselors work on an as needed basis during the school year to fill long term absences only Work hours will vary based on the assignment.

Applications will be reviewed as openings occur Mandatory online orientation and training will occur after a candidate is selected and onboarded for a position.

Salary:
Long-term substitute scholl counselor assignments in excess of twenty (20) days will be paid at the contract teacher rate based on your degree, esxperience and credits.
