Job Description

The Mt. Lebanon School District has an immediate need for a Long-Term Substitute School Counselor at Mt. Lebanon High School.

This is a full-time, on-site, temporary assignment through the remainder of the 1st semester, January 14, 2027.

Due to the length of the assignment, this position will be eligible for the degree level daily rate at step 1 of the teachers' salary schedule with rates starting at $297 per day depending upon credential.

This position will not be eligible for paid time off or district subsidized health benefits.

Required: Active Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in School Counseling that is inclusive of Grades 9-12.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

In order to be eligible for employment, the following clearances must be furnished and approved for hire at time of job offer:

• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
• FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)

The following additional trainings and forms are required upon hire:

• Act 126 Child/Student Abuse Recognition and Reporting
• Arrest or Conviction Form (PDE 6004) (Act 24)
• School Personnel Health Record (Physical with TB Test)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
