Yachad, a division of The Orthodox Union, the nation’s largest Orthodox Jewish organization‚ supports individuals with intellectual, developmental, and learning disabilities. Yachad helps these individuals participate more fully in Jewish life and the broader society by providing educational, employment, and relationship opportunities.
The Orthodox Union (OU) is one of the largest Orthodox Jewish organizations in the United States. Founded in 1898, the OU supports a network of synagogues, youth programs, Jewish and Religious Zionist advocacy programs, programs for people with disabilities, localized religious study programs, and international units. The OU maintains a kosher certification service, whose circled U symbol,Ⓤ, is found on the labels of many kosher commercial and consumer food products.
The Program Director plays a critical role in ensuring the success and growth of inclusive programming for individuals with disabilities. This position requires ahard-working, detail-oriented, and proactive leaderwho is passionate about fostering inclusion. The Program Director is chiefly tasked with the operations and the execution of Yachadprograms on Long Island. The Program Director will collaborate withfamiliesand staff, and work closely with the City Director to enhance quality and expand participation, and have a constant mindset of growth and how to best enhance programing.
The role requires a hybrid work model, availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and Shabbatons as needed, and attendance at at least three programs per week to support staff, ensure program quality, and maintain participant engagement. Compensatory time will be granted to make up for time worked outside of typical 9-5 hours.

Salary & Benefits:
The salary range for thispositionis$50,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience.
