We're looking for a highly skilled long-form video editor who can produce polished, professional content for YouTube and podcast distribution.
This role goes beyond basic editing. The ideal candidate understands pacing, storytelling, viewer retention, audio engineering, and how to elevate raw recordings into premium long-form content optimized for both viewing and listening experiences.
You should be comfortable working with podcasts, interviews, mentorship recordings, and speaking engagements — transforming raw footage into clean, engaging, platform-ready content that aligns with brand standards and audience expectations.
The right person is technically strong, detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving production environment.
Edit full podcast episodes for YouTube and audio distribution
Handle audio cleanup, leveling, noise reduction, music integration, and sound design
Add B-roll, lower thirds, chapter markers, intro/outro sequences, and visual elements
Edit mentorship sessions, interviews, and speaking engagements for distribution and repurposing
Optimize long-form content for YouTube performance, retention, and viewer experience
Ensure content meets brand standards for both visual and audio quality
Apply feedback quickly and refine edits through internal and client review rounds
Collaborate closely with producers and the creative team throughout production workflows
Receive creative direction from the Marketing Coordinator and Production Lead
Submit edits through Frame.io for internal and client review
Collaborate with Clara for source organization, asset management, and delivery coordination
Maintain organized project files and clear communication across production timelines
Minimum 2–3 years of experience editing long-form video or podcast content
Strong portfolio demonstrating polished YouTube or podcast production work
High proficiency in Premiere Pro, Audition, Frame.io, or equivalent tools
Strong audio engineering skills including balancing, cleanup, and sound optimization
Understanding of YouTube best practices for long-form content and retention
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Experience working with founder-led brands, podcasts, or media companies is a strong plus
This role is best suited for someone who:
Cares deeply about production quality and viewer experience
Has strong technical editing and audio skills
Notices small details others miss
Can work quickly while maintaining polish and consistency
Enjoys refining raw recordings into premium content
Operates well inside fast-moving creative environments
