Key Responsibilities

• Organize, perform and draw conclusions from lab experiments following discussion with supervisors
• Ensure all experimental work is recorded in appropriate lab notebooks, databases and project reports
• Work safely, following all lab procedures and contribute to the maintenance of high safety standards
• Provide technical support to other internal functions especially sales and production
• Contribute ideas for lab work involving new product development, existing product improvement, formula cost reduction, processes and procedural improvement
• Provide technical service to customers across the entire coatings process to meet required quality online and cost targets by ensuring the performance of company products through problem solving and process improvements suggestions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline
• Minimum 4-6 years' work experience in a technical role within the powder, chemical or coatings industry
• High collaboration skillset
• Technical report writing is a must
• Mandarin would be an added advantage
