To join our Technology Degree Apprenticeship, you’ll need:
It doesn’t matter what subjects you’ve studied or whether you have followed a traditional technology pathway. What matters most is that you have a genuine passion for technology and your ability to demonstrate this through your studies, personal projects, extracurriculars, or work experience. Curiosity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are vital. An interest in Modern technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Data & Analytics and Digital Transformation is beneficial. Programming experience is helpful, but not essential as we’ll support you in in building these skills along the way.
Apprentices who thrive in our programme often share some key qualities:
If you're motivated, eager to learn, and ready to make a real impact, this could be the perfect opportunity to launch your career in tech.
Once you’ve completed your initial training, you’ll be ready to take on your first role. Project placements vary depending on business needs, and we encourage apprentices to explore a range of opportunities.
Typical roles on this programme may include:
Throughout your apprenticeship and beyond, you’ll be supported with ongoing training, coaching, and guidance to help you grow your skills and shape your career. You’ll also work across a variety of projects, giving you the chance to explore the breadth of what we do, apply what you are learning at university and discover where your strengths and interests lie.
On completion of your apprenticeship, you’ll be aligned to a specialised business area that reflects your ambitions. From that point on, you’ll continue to build expertise, take on more responsibility, and shape a career path that is uniquely yours.
To bring this to life, here are some examples from past/present apprentices:
Accenture values collaboration, bringing people together at least three times a week at client sites or one of our UK offices. You will be required to be in your assigned office for a minimum of three days per week and must live within commuting distance to make this possible. Project work may also take you to client sites across the UK, sometimes more than three days a week, depending on business needs.
Please note: Due to UK Government funding regulations, we’re unfortunately unable to sponsor work permits for our apprenticeship programmes. To be eligible, applicants must already have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.
The start date for the programme is September 2027. Applications close on 30th November 2026, although we may close applications earlier if the role is filled, so we encourage early applications.
Please note that successful candidates must be available for the full induction and training period from the programme start date until early October. This is an important part of your onboarding experience, helping you build the skills, knowledge and connections needed to get started successfully. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate annual leave during this period.
You can only apply for one role in one location each year, so take your time choosing the best fit for you.
