Position Summary
The Driver is responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
Position Functions
• Operating and driving straight or articulate trucks to transport goods and materials
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights and brakes
• Cold storage and other equipment
• Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
• Complete driver log book, inspection reports, accident/incident reports
• Production duties as assigned
Working Conditions
• Ability to work in hot & cold temperatures
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
Physical Requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience hauling steel is considered an asset
• Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
• Air brake (Z) Endorsement
• Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) Certificate
• Air Brake Adjustment Certificate
• Criminal record check, driving record check, medical exam, drug test
