
-The Logistics & Warranty Operations Manager or Specialist is responsible for end-to-end coordination of outbound shipments and post-delivery warranty support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, operational accuracy, and cross-functional alignment. This role manages freight coordination for full truckload shipments, oversees shipment documentation and system accuracy, serves as the primary customer contact during delivery, and supports warranty and RMA processes as a technical liaison between Sales, Engineering, and Operations.
Essential Functions
-Shipment Coordination and Execution
oCoordinate freight transportation for full truckload shipments, including multi-truck purchase orders.
oGenerate carrier rate quotes, negotiate pricing, confirm availability, and manage service levels.
oMaintain strong carrier relationships focused on cost-efficiency and reliability. Build and maintain customer relationships, resolve customer issues, gather feedback, and offer recommendations to the engineering team.
-Shipment Systems and Documentation
oEnter and maintain accurate shipment data in Oracle/Fishbowl.
oPrepare shipment folders, load forms, and labels for warehouse execution.
oUpdate Salesforce with shipping and delivery details. Support client tours and address inquiries about our capabilities.
-Customer Coordination and Delivery Support
oConfirm delivery details and schedules with customers.
oTrack shipments and proactively communicate status updates.
oResolve delays, manage rescheduling, and obtain proof of delivery documentation. Support and maintain Mission Solar RMA Log for warranty claims.
-Warranty and RMA Support
oMaintain Mission Solar RMA and warranty logs.
oSupport Sales and customers as a field service advisor on warranty claims.
oServe as a technical liaison between Sales and Engineering.
oCoordinate cross-functional efforts to investigate and close warranty claims.
oProvide product enhancement feedback and uphold a high standard of customer service. Serves as a technical facilitator between Sales and Engineering
Education and Experience
For Specialist‑level roles Advanced technical experience in logistics, warranty operations, or solar manufacturing may be considered in lieu of the above requirements.
Skills and Abilities
-Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-Knowledge of solar module manufacturing processes.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, ERP and CRM systems.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
-Demonstrates accountability, sound judgment, and customer focus.

-Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in warehouse or production environments.
