Job Location: Houston Mega Lubricants Facility - Houston, TX 77015Company Description: John W. Stone Oil Distributor, LLC is the local leader in dockside, mid-streaming, and offshore fueling along the Mississippi River, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Houston, Texas, and into the Gulf of America.
Position: Logistic Warehouse  / Forklift Operator (Houston)
Report To: Logistics Manager
Worksite: The facility is in Houston, Texas (Houston Ship Channel Area). The company’s headquarters is in Gretna, Louisiana (The greater New Orleans area).
Work Schedule: 7am-5pm Monday-Friday including overtime as needed. Weekend shifts required on a scheduled basis.
Essential Job Duties:
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Initiate warehouse operations each day (open doors for business, turn on lights, fans, and air compressor as needed).
- Manage and organize warehouse, including inventory, products, packaging materials and equipment.
- Stock rotation and Housekeeping.
- Check shipments to be filled each day applying prioritization and time management skills.
- Assist with load verification, offloading and loading of packaged goods.
- Notating all special shipping instructions, ensuring those instructions are followed.
- Documenting (written and photo) of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Oversee package warehouse personnel, including training, assigning tasks, motivating and coaching personnel to achieve goals and improve productivity.
- Ensuring all safety requirements and precautions are followed and taken.
- Effectively communicate with Dispatch and CSR personnel throughout the day.
- Crosstrain for the performance of other duties at the company’s facility.
- Other duties that may be requested by Director, Supervisor or Executive Management as needed.

Physical Requirements: All offers of employment are conditioned on passing a drug screen (a DOT test, and a non-DOT hair test) and a fit-for-duty physical examination. Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds and ascending/descending stairs/ladders.

QualificationsMinimum

Qualifications:
- At Least 18 Years of Age.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Reliable Transportation to and from Work.
- High School Diploma (or its equivalent).
- Basic Computer Skills.
- At Least 12 Months of Heavy Manual-Labor Work Experience.
- Previous Warehouse Experience a Plus.
