Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Trainee/Apprentice/VIE-TAV to join our team at Valeo Sistemas Electronicos SA de CV. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of logistics operations within a dynamic automotive supplier environment. The successful candidate will contribute to optimizing our supply chain processes and ensuring efficient material flow.

Job Responsibilities**

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of inbound and outbound logistics activities.
• Support inventory management, including stock checks, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
• Participate in the monitoring and analysis of logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, purchasing) and external partners (e.g., suppliers, freight forwarders).
• Learn and apply Valeo's logistics standards, processes, and tools.
• Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation and reports.
• Support the optimization of transportation routes and modes.
• Assist in managing customs procedures and import/export documentation.
• Participate in special logistics projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications**

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Basic understanding of supply chain principles is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is highly desirable.
• For VIE-TAV candidates: Eligibility requirements for the Volontariat International en Entreprise (VIE) program.
