Do you want to lead our Inbound team to top results in an international environment?
As Team Leader Logistics Inbound at DocMorris, you are responsible for a cost-effective operation in your department, where the customer always comes first. In our international organization, located right on the border between Heerlen and Aachen, you ensure the perfect coordination of the goods flow. Your efforts ensure that the foundation of our logistics—goods receipt—functions flawlessly.
You will lead a close-knit team of 13 to 15 employees in an environment with complex processes. This team consists of go-getters who need a resilient leader—someone who stands firm, communicates constructively, and handles difficult situations or incidents effectively. Because the work involves heavy equipment in a high-bay warehouse, ensuring safety is your absolute top priority.
Coordination: Oversee the correct and timely unloading and storage of goods in the high-bay warehouse.
Leadership: Lead from the floor as a hands-on leader, directly supporting team members in their daily execution.
Process Optimization: Plan internal transport and optimize processes to prevent bottlenecks and increase productivity.
Quality Control: Ensure compliance with all relevant work instructions, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Collaboration: Act as a central sparring partner for departments such as Outbound, Purchasing, and Quality Management.
Level: Professional and intellectual level of MBO/HBO (vocational/higher professional education), preferably supplemented with leadership experience in logistics.
Mindset: A hands-on leader who likes to get stuck in ("hands in the mud") and serves as a role model for the team.
Languages: Good command of Dutch, German, or English; multilingualism is crucial for collaboration within our team.
Availability: Willingness to work in a 2-shift rotation (morning shift: 06:00 - 14:30 | evening shift: 14:30 - 23:00). You will work one weekend per month in the morning shift (Saturday and Sunday) plus one Sunday afternoon/evening shift.
Systems: Thorough knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP, and proficiency in MS Office.
Salary: A gross monthly salary between € 3,300 and € 4,000 based on experience.
Allowances: A shift allowance of 20% after 20:00 and a 100% Sunday allowance.
Travel Expenses: A commuting allowance of € 0.19 per kilometer.
Facilities: Access to our company restaurant with fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and free soup.
Development: Growth opportunities through our own Warehouse Academy and support in obtaining MBO 3 or 4 diplomas.
Work Environment: A clean, organized logistics environment with a constant, comfortable temperature.
