Under the direction of the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Analyst will oversee TMS (Shipwell) to support EJ logistics, sales and supply chain. Responsible for the communication, coordination and administration of all logistics related software. Understand all supporting processes and train EJ stakeholders. Utilize business intelligence related tools to establish continuous improvement KPI’s.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Support existing Logistics responsibilities by learning dispatching processes and backing up that role when needed.
  • Acts as TMS administrator. Setting up new users, entering bug & upgrade request tickets with third party provider.
  • Works with users on system and/or process issues.
  • Work with 3rd party carriers to manage integration projects via EDI or API as required.
  • Ensures timely filing of IFTA, IRP, HUT, etc for internal fleet delivery vehicles.
  • Troubleshoots configuration issues, provides technical support and identifies system solutions.
  • Design, create and implement solutions to streamline and optimize all logistics business processes
  • Configures settings for all key TMS processes.
  • Develops and publishes scripts to explain TMS processes to other users. Scripts will serve as training aids, as preliminary work instruction and process walk through.
  • Facilitates quarterly RFP process with dedicated carriers.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
