Job Description

Responsible for coordinating and supporting export operations to ensure the timely and compliant shipment of goods to international customers. This role works closely with internal departments, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to facilitate export documentation, shipment tracking, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support daily export shipping activities.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping documents.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
  • Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and customers regarding shipment status and requirements.
  • Monitor export shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve transportation issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of export transactions and shipping documentation.
  • Assist with customs audits and regulatory inquiries.
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, customer service, and logistics teams to support efficient order fulfillment.
  • Track key performance indicators and prepare logistics reports as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics and export processes.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, export operations, transportation, or supply chain support.
  • Knowledge of export documentation and international shipping procedures.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations, Incoterms, and international trade compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems and transportation management systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
