Logistics, Supply Chain & Procurement Protégé Trainee (Ref. R1012676)

at our location in Kuala-Lumpur

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

• Assist in the procurement of goods and services by raising purchase orders, comparing quotations, and following up with vendors.
• Support in maintaining supplier databases and tracking performance.
• Help coordinate inbound and outbound logistics including shipping documentation and scheduling.
• Monitor and update inventory records and stock levels in ERP or inventory systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand demand forecasts and supply planning.
• Assist in preparing reports and dashboards on procurement, logistics KPIs, and cost analysis.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support compliance with company procurement policies and documentation standards.
• Assist in handling day-to-day communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams.
• Learn and apply industry best practices related to logistics, procurement, and supply chain sustainability.

You have:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in procurement, logistics, or supply chain.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Good multitasking and effective time management skills.
• Can work in team, be proactive and self-motivated.
