About the roles:

MYMC are hiring 2 x Logistics Shift Supervisors who will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient picking, packing, dispatch, and stock management activities.

This role focuses on team leadership, compliance with operational standards, continuous process improvement, and maintaining a high standard of safety, quality, and service across shifts.

This is a hands-on operational role and is expected to be on the floor leading their team for the vast majority of each shift.

Shift Day & Time:

  • Day Shift: Tuesday - Saturday from 6am - 2:06pm.
  • Afternoon Shift: Monday - Friday from 2pm - 10:06pm

Key Responsibilities but not limited too:

People:

  • Lead daily startup meetings and toolbox talks to ensure clear communication and safety awareness.
  • Maintain and update the Skills Matrix; drive cross-training to eliminate single-point sensitivity.
  • Escalate staffing, performance, punctuality, and attendance concerns to the Assistant Logistics Manager.

Delivery & Service:

  • Ensure picking targets and KPIs are met, including pallet output and box-picking rates; drive achievement of agreed KPIs daily and weekly.
  • Monitor hourly picking reports and ensure accurate handovers, leaving the site clean and to standard for the next shift.
  • Organise and verify all dispatch documentation (picking sheets, labels, consignment notes) is complete and ready at the start of each shift.

Quality:

  • Ensure product quality standards are met, including pallet condition, Ti Hi configuration, SKU accuracy, and correct quantities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and quality standards within area of responsibility.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure work areas and equipment are clean and maintained.

Safety:

  • Report all hazards, injuries, and near misses through appropriate systems; complete monthly safety audits.
  • Coordinate general maintenance and report equipment breakdowns to maintenance teams.
  • Ensure the workplace is left in a clean, safe, and organised state at end of shift, including clearing the cardboard compactor.

Skills & Experiences:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse or logistics environment. Experience in temperature-controlled warehousing (highly desirable)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse team. Proven ability to coordinate operations and communicate effectively across multiple sites.
  • Professional attitude with a growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse systems, quality control, safety standards, and performance metrics.
  • Forklift licence preferred; willingness to operate forklift regularly is advantageous.
