The Logistics Specialist – Stores plays a crucial role in the manufacturing and production sector by ensuring the efficient management of inventory and logistics operations. Based in Henderson, Auckland, this permanent full-time position is essential for maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating shipments, and supporting the overall supply chain process. Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records are maintained.
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with suppliers and transport companies to optimise delivery schedules.
• Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies to management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the storage areas.
• Provide support in the training of new staff on logistics procedures and systems.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a logistics or inventory management role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
