We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to own the end-to-end execution of Amazon shipments and inventory movements. This role is heavily focused on Amazon Seller Central operations, including inbound fulfillment, stock processes, and inventory accuracy.

This is a systems- and execution-driven role: managing data, monitoring transfer orders, tracking inventory status, and providing clear, reliable reporting on progress, risks, and exceptions. The role requires comfort with computer-based work, operating within multiple systems, and occasional on-site coordination with 3PL partners.

This person will need to reside within a commutable distance to our Romeoville, IL warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

Amazon Fulfillment & Inbound Operations

  • Execute and manage end-to-end Amazon inbound shipments, including FC-bound inventory and related logistics workflows 

  • Operate daily within Amazon Seller Central, including:  

  • Creating and managing shipments 

  • Monitoring inbound status and discrepancies 

  • Managing stock availability, receiving status, and shortages 

  • Ensure alignment between physical inventory, Seller Central records, and internal systems 

  • Proactively surface inbound delays, shortages, or errors and drive resolution 

Inventory, Transfers & Data Management

  • Enter, monitor, and maintain accurate records fortransfers orders, inventory movements between facilities and channels, and shipment & receiving statuses.

  • Track inventory movement from origin through final receipt 

  • Reconcile system data against physical and thirdparty records 

  • Maintain clean, audit-ready documentation 

Reporting & Communication

  • Produce clear, structured status reporting onshipment progress, inventory positions, exceptions, risks, and blocked items.

  • Communicate consistently with internal stakeholders and 3PL partners 

  • Escalate issues early with supporting data and proposed next steps 

3PL Coordination

  • Serve as the operational point of contact for Romeoville-based 3PLs 

  • Conduct on-site visits as needed to support inbounding, inventory checks, and issue resolution 

  • Ensure warehouse execution aligns with Amazon requirements and internal expectations 

Education and Skill Requirements

  • Hands-on experience using Amazon Seller Central, with strong familiarity withinbound shipments andAmazon stock / inventory processes 

  • High proficiency in data entry, system navigation, and Excel-based tracking 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple in-flight shipments and inventory movements 

  • Comfortable working in operational systems and spreadsheets for extended periods 

  • Proven ability to track details, follow processes, and deliver accurate reporting 

  • Based in the Chicagometroarea, with ability to travel locally to Romeoville 3PL facilities 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting Amazon FBA or Amazon-focused supply chain operations 

  • Experience working with 3PLs, warehouses, or distribution partners 

  • Familiarity with transfer orders, inventory reconciliation, and stock accuracy workflows 

  • Experience in consumer goods, retail, or ecommerce fulfillment environments 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Physical Requirements

This is a full-time position and may require long hours and may require weekend and nights work perevents

  • Travel Requirements:Weekly travel to Romeoville 3PL facilities required.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly requiredto,stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

  • Light tomoderatelifting is required.

  • Ability to uphold the stress of traveling.

  • Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).

  • Ability to work in a confined area.

  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extendedperiod of time
