Helm Point Solutions is a woman-owned cybersecurity and physical security firm supporting the nation’s most critical systems and infrastructure. We’re seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to support Office of Security leadership with Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Total Asset Management (TAM), software asset and license management, and mission logistics.

What You’ll Do

As a Logistics Specialist, you will:

  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity Planning documentation, including mission-essential functions, recovery priorities, and alternate-site requirements.
  • Support continuity planning in accordance with NSPM-40, FCD 1, FCD 2, DoDD 3020.26, and DoDI 3020.42.
  • Review and update continuity plans annually and following major mission or organizational changes.
  • Plan and support annual continuity exercises, develop after-action reports, and track corrective actions.
  • Prepare and deliver continuity status briefings to Office of Security leadership.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of accountable assets, including receipt, tagging, accountability, transfer, inventory, reconciliation, and disposition.
  • Conduct semiannual physical inventories, including support at St. Louis and Arnold, Missouri locations.
  • Investigate asset discrepancies and provide recommended resolutions.
  • Support property custodians and hand-receipt holders with accountability requirements and records maintenance.
  • Maintain the software tracker as the authoritative record for software assets, licenses, versions, renewal dates, and points of contact.
  • Reconcile software records against procurement documentation and deployed inventory.
  • Track license expirations and provide renewal notices at least 90 days in advance.
  • Deliver monthly status reports covering software licensing, renewals, compliance, and discrepancies.
  • Coordinate logistics activities across acquisition, IT, security, facilities, and other mission partners.
  • Identify process improvements that increase data accuracy, improve accountability, and reduce manual effort.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Current CI Polygraph or ability to successfully complete one after start
  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 6 years of relevant logistics experience OR
  • 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Business Continuity Plans
  • Experience supporting continuity exercises, after-action reporting, and senior leadership briefings
  • Hands-on Total Asset Management experience across the asset lifecycle
  • Experience conducting inventories, reconciliations, property accountability, transfers, and disposition
  • Experience managing a software tracker or software asset inventory
  • Experience with software license tracking, renewals, reconciliation, and compliance reporting
  • Working knowledge of federal and DoD continuity and property accountability requirements
  • General IT proficiency, including familiarity with hardware, software, databases, and IT terminology
  • Ability to travel within CONUS approximately twice per year, primarily to St. Louis and Arnold, Missouri
