MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Specialists to join our team in Australia, Guam, Japan, and Philippines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead the execution of shipping and receiving activities and coordinates the movement of materials across multifunctional departments
Validate the accuracy of shipping manifests and authorize the dispatch of multimodal cargo to maintain mission readiness
Monitor the performance of Distribution staff against established benchmarks and validate the implementation of improved material handling procedures
Execute specialized distribution oversight for JTDC operations intended for diverse theater Mission Partners
Validate the technical accuracy of sustainment reports and lead field-level assessments of sorting, warehousing, and distribution procedures within theater hubs
Draft and maintain documentation for shipping and receiving activities and prepare manifests for multimodal cargo
Follow established SOPs to ensure that all material handling activities are conducted with precision and in accordance with organizational standards
Prepare data summaries for Mission Partner reviews and support the maintenance of technical documentation for theater retrograde and contingency distribution plans within the U.S. Pacific AOR

Minimum Qualifications:
Expert Level
12+ years of position-relevant experience
Experience in formal document approval and acting as the final Technical Authority for theater-level shipping and receiving operations
High school diploma
Senior Level
10+ years of position-relevant experience
Experience in formal shipping and receiving oversight and leading Technical Teams in an expeditionary environment
High school diploma
Mid-Level
3+ years of position-relevant experience
Proficiency in automated shipping and receiving software and technical reporting
High school diploma
Junior Level
Foundational knowledge of shipping and receiving principles
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry
High school diploma
Desired Qualifications:
Expert Level
PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Experience with USSOCOM or PACOM theater distribution systems
Proficiency in automated cargo tracking systems (e.g., GATES or CMOS)
Senior Level
Forklift Operator certification or HAZMAT Shipping certification
Experience with DoD technical manuals and supply policy for expeditionary theater distribution centers
Mid-Level
Foundational knowledge of DoD supply regulations and HAZMAT handling
Experience in military logistics or distribution center documentation
Junior Level
Bachelor’s or associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
1+ years in shipping, receiving, or distribution operations
Certified Logistics Technician (CLT), HAZMAT Shipping certification (DOT/IATA/IMDG)
Foundational understanding of Joint Transportation Documentation Center (JTDC) or equivalent theater-level distribution hubs
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must possess active Public Trust clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and virtual communication which may involve delivering presentations
