The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Logistics Specialist to provide critical mission logistics support to maintain and optimize all logistics functions in support of C5ISR Center, DEVCOM located at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily logistics operations in support of government contract requirements, including receiving, storing, staging, and shipping products and equipment in accordance with established procedures and contract specifications.

  • Support development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve inventory management, shipping/receiving, material/equipment requisition and supply chain efficiency in compliance with government and company requirements.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement, contracts, and logistics personnel to maintain optimal stock levels and support mission readiness.

  • Track and analyze logistics performance metrics, recommending process improvements to enhance productivity, accuracy, and contract compliance.

  • Collaborate with program management and other departments to streamline processes and support timely, accurate order fulfillment.

  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations, security protocols, and government property accountability requirements; ensure a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment.

  • Support tracking of all logistics functions as needed.

  • Utilize government or company inventory management systems for inventory tracking, accountability, and reporting.

  • Store, stack, and palletize government and contract equipment in compliance with mandated safety and security regulations.

  • Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other powered material handling equipment; maintain required certifications.

  • Perform quality assurance duties, including inspections, inventory process checks, and examination of materials and articles to ensure compliance with contract and regulatory standards.

  • Generate, process, and/or submit documentation (e.g., DD Form 1149, DD Form 1348, packing lists, shipping manifests) in support of supply chain and logistics operations.

  • Provide logistics support for both CONUS and OCONUS shipping requirements, including compliance with customs, ITAR/EAR export control regulations, and DoD transportation requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of contract and mission objectives.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • SECRET Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI

  • High School Diploma or GED; and 4 years of related experience or equivalent.

  • Experience with DoD CONUS and OCONUS shipping requirements.

  • Experience with inventory management, cataloging, warehouse management, material coordination, data entry, and property control.

  • Possess a valid driver's license.

  • Position may require travel.

Pay Range

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$63,300 - 129,700 USD
