Job Description

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Logistics Specialist at MKS greenfield organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipment order fulfilment operations of a Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW), ensuring smooth export of goods in logistics operations.

You Will Make an Impact by:

  • Coordinate daily shipment schedules, carrier bookings, pick up arrangements and shipping documentation (AWB/BOL, commercial invoices, packing lists) with internal department and freight forwarders to ensure seamless and timely outgoing shipments.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing/custom form of outbound shipment, proper filing for internal/external audit purpose
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian export regulations and customs procedures.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing delays and disruptions.
  • Coordinating freight forwarders, and customers to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery
  • Maintain metrics and analyse data (POD/OTD KPI) to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirement.
  • Update daily shipment report and custom form no per e-invoicing process flow

Skills You Bring:

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Shipping or related experience minimum 2-3 years' experience in a LMW environment.
  • Fresh graduates with following traits such as mature mindset, has initiative, self-motivated, responsible, works with integrity and sense of urgency with minimum supervision are encouraged to apply.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to multitask to resolve issues efficiently and work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in logistics software - Oracle, WMS, TMS, E2OPEN and MS Office.
  • Knowledgeable on transportation management system, customs documentation, HS codes, incoterms, duty and tax
  • Experience in managing Dangerous Goods shipment would be a plus point.
  • High adaptability, strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
