Job Description

Your challenges

  • Work together with internal and external stakeholders to make Eppendorf goods move throughout the world.

  • Responsible for inbound and outbound shipment issues, such as BOL correction, accessorial charge approval, customer refusals, etc.

  • Working with Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers and Carriers on Export shipments regarding booking export orders and setting up pickup appointments and delivery appointments

  • Collaborate with internal departments ensure shipments move expeditiously and according to EAR and Customer documentation requirements

  • Obtain and compare freight quotes for LTL, FTL or parcel shipments

  • Creation of export documentation abiding by EAR – Commercial / Proforma Invoice, SLI, Letter of Credit processing, Export Licenses

  • Maintain export files according to EAR and record the customer’s requirements in the customer’s file

  • Assist the Distribution team with routing guide questions, shipping system issues, etc.

Your expertise

  • High school diploma; 2+ years related experience and/or training in transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding.

  • Experience with international shipments and customs regulations

  • Knowledge of an ERP system, preferably SAP

  • Attention to detail

  • Team mentality
