Grade C, local Nitra

Salary: From 2060 eur monthly, 0-15% yearly bonus, other benefits according JLR rule

THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Logistics Solutions Engineer you will provide hands on engineering support to the design, development, and delivery of manufacturing logistics solutions. The role contributes to early concept definition through to implementation and handover, delivering defined elements of logistics projects in line with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Environmental (SQCDE) objectives.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Collect and validate logistics requirements from manufacturing, MP&L, supply chain and other teams.

• Translate operational needs into clear logistics parameters (volumes, takt, part characteristics, constraints).

• Design end‑to‑end material flows from goods receipt to point of use.

• Define warehouse, in‑plant and lineside processes, including kitting and material presentation.

• Select appropriate storage and handling solutions and create layouts in Autodesk CAD.

• Perform capacity, space and performance calculations and define equipment needs for RFQs.

• Analyse logistics and operational data, identify waste and propose data‑driven improvements.

• Maintain accurate assumptions, documentation and PFEP data throughout the project lifecycle.

• Deliver engineering work packages, track progress, manage issues and support implementation on site.

• Prepare logistics RFQs, review supplier offers and manage purchase orders.

• Collaborate with manufacturing, MP&L, supply chain, facilities and logistics providers.

• Communicate technical information clearly to different stakeholders.

• Ensure solutions meet safety requirements, consider sustainability and manage risks.

• Use digital tools consistently, maintain version‑controlled documentation and support audits.

• Capture lessons learned, support continuous improvement and develop technical skills

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Experience in Manufacturing Logistics or a closely related environment
• Broad understanding of logistics engineering solutions, processes, systems, and equipment
• Understanding of logistics flows and optimisation principles• Experience producing warehouse and lineside layouts
• Strong analytical and data handling skills
• Experience of process improvement and waste elimination
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organisation
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience identifying and managing risks
• Experience using Autodesk CAD software
