We are looking for a talented Warehoouse and logistic site manager to join our team specializing in Warehoouse and Logistics for our Cummins in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.

Directs, manages and leads a cross-functional team to ensure speed, dependability and efficiency in Parts Distribution Center operations or warehouse, providing excellent product availability and service to Cummins Distributors and Aftermarket customers, and/or internal Cummins stakeholders.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor the inflow and outflow of goods, conduct periodic and annual physical inventories, and ensure the accuracy of records within the system (WMS), according to SOX requirements.
  • Logistics and Operations: Coordinate the receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch of products, ensuring adherence to delivery deadlines.
  • Safety: Foster a safe and healthy environment by establishing and enforcing safety standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Space Optimization: Organize the physical layout of the warehouse to streamline movement and maximize storage capacity.
  • Budget Control and Reporting: Analyze performance metrics (KPIs) and manage the warehouse's operational costs.
  • Site Leadership: Lead the operation of a Parts Distribution Center, ensuring performance meets or exceeds KPIs and business targets.
  • Stakeholder & Service Management: Ensure SLA compliance and maintain alignment with key business partners and supported business units.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies aligned with Cummins Operating System.
  • Financial & Resource Planning: Manage operating plans, including budget, headcount, and capital investments.
  • People Leadership: Coach and develop talent, fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and safety-driven culture aligned with Cummins values.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Logistics, Warehouse, or Distribution Center Manager
  • Advanced English proficiency (conversational, written, and reading).
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Operations, inventory management, and internal controls, including SOX compliance
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, or similar.
  • Experience leading safety programs, audits, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Preferred certifications:
    • APICS/ASCM CPIM
    • APICS/ASCM CLTD
    • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
    • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
    • Lean Certification

    Education, Licenses, Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • APICS certification is a plus.

This role is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Parts Distribution Center (PDC), ensuring efficient warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and on-time product distribution. The position oversees logistics, KPI performance, budget management, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. It also involves leading and developing the warehouse team, managing resources, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and achieve business objectives.
