Scale House Operator - Franklin, KY

What will you do?
- Work safely and smartly, following our procedures and your training.
- Operate our scale, weighing trucks in and out to ensure accuracy of tickets and incoming and outgoing material.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with shippers through professional, timely, and responsive communications.
- Collect, maintain, and transmit accurate data for department regarding performance, statistical analysis, filing, and paperwork processing.
- Accurately schedule all supplier and customer appointments.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of company trailers to ensure proper loading and availability.
- Report deviations, discrepancies, or non-conforming materials based upon departmental procedures so that logistics can make corrections and adjustments to processes or pricing.
- Test Radcomm System, reporting any issues to logistics management and EH&S.
- Daily transmit all scheduled truck information to the logistics team.
- Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets and files related to shipping and receiving.
What do you need to bring to the table?
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Prior freight arrangement or logistics experience preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Prior scale experience preferred.
- At least one year of customer service experience.

When will you work?
- The current schedule is Monday-Friday, 9a-5p, with opportunity for overtime.
