
Our client is seeking a driven, experienced, and dynamic Logistics Sales Specialist to become a key contributor to their team. The Logistics Sales Specialist will leverage industry expertise to grow and manage a book of business in a highly competitive market while playing a direct role in the company's overall success. This position focuses on General Freight (Van, Flatbed, Reefer) and includes additional solutions such as LTL, Sprinter Vans, Box Trucks, Hazmat, and Over-Dimensional shipments.
Prospecting & Relationship Building: Proactively identify, contact, and develop new customer relationships through outbound calls, messaging, and in-person meetings.
Negotiation & Deal Execution: Work directly with customers and carriers to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions that result in profitable, long-term partnerships.
Sales Performance: Meet and exceed monthly sales goals, quotas, and growth targets.
Market Awareness: Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, market rates, U.S. lane activity, truck capacity, and competitive offerings.
Collaboration: Partner closely with internal logistics teams to share insights, drive growth, and deliver a seamless customer experience.
Sales-Driven & Goal-Oriented: Demonstrates a strong passion for sales and business development within logistics and transportation.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven success in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation sales.
Relationship Builder: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with both customers and carriers.
Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate competitive freight rates and apply lane analysis to maximize profitability.
Tech-Savvy & Organized: Strong computer skills, excellent multitasking ability, and experience using freight or CRM software.
Self-Starter: Highly motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Minimum Requirements
2+ years of experience in sales
2+ years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation sales preferred
The pay is commission plus salary. Commission is based off the Gross Profit for loads moved each month. Salary is paid weekly, and commission is paid once per month.
$1 - $9,999 - 5% commission
$10,000 - $19,999 - 10% commission
$20,000 - $29,999 - 12% commission
$30,000 - $39,999 - 13% commission
$40,000 and higher - 15% commission
