As a Returns Clerk at Kuehne+Nagel, you will be responsible for processing returned merchandise, verifying product quantities and conditions, completing system transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records to support efficient warehouse operations. This is a 1st shift position working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and pays $18.50 per hour, paid weekly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while ensuring returned products are handled accurately and customer requirements are met.

How you create impact

  • Process and verify returned merchandise, ensuring product quantities, item information, and product condition are accurately documented.
  • Complete return transactions, inventory adjustments, and system updates using warehouse management and customer systems.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies involving returned products, damaged goods, shortages, and inventory variances.
  • Maintain accurate records of return documentation, return reasons, product disposition, and inventory movements.
  • Coordinate with warehouse operations, inventory control, customer service, and quality teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of returns.
  • Follow established operating procedures while supporting inventory accuracy, compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What we would like you to bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in returns processing, inventory control, warehousing, distribution, logistics, or a third-party logistics (3PL) environment preferred.
  • Experience processing returned merchandise, researching discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records preferred.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately enter data, verify product information, and maintain return documentation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
